hyperlynx is a Swiss/Irish collaboration between Laurent Meteau (CH – guitar), Philipp Schlotter (CH – rhodes/electronics) and Matthew Jacobson (IE – drums/synths). These three musicians have evolved independently through different musical styles in their respective countries; between electronic pop, improvised music, folk and contemporary jazz. In a short space of time, following residencies in Switzerland and Ireland, they have developed a strong rapport and unique band sound utilising those individual backgrounds. In 2024, they recorded their debut album with Omar Fra at Studio 42 in Winterthur, Switzerland, which will be released on independent Irish record label Little Gem in Autumn 2025 with launch shows around Europe.
